
Offer Fall specials:
Create a Fall special. Lower your prices on certain items if possible or offer a discount on a specific service or even hand out free samples if you can. Do something that creates added-value to your clients and prospects.
Participate in local Autumn events:
Get involved in your community leading up to the holidays. i.e. - If your town has a festival planned, sign up as a sponsor and get out there and meet new people. Try something silly like a Halloween costume contest inside your business. Whatever you do, make sure it celebrates Fall and gets people talking about your business.
Create a new direct marketing postcard:
Send out an Autumn-themed postcard listing your Fall specials to get new customers or new sales from your existing clients. Another good idea is to send your customers a really beautiful calendar that they will keep all year and look at often. Make sure your name and phone numbers are highly visible on every month.
Thank your clients:
At Thanksgiving time, say "thank you" to your clients. Send them a card just to say thank you for another year of business and loyalty and to simply wish them a Happy Thanksgiving. Your customers will appreciate it since you are extending a thoughtful gesture, not advertising a product for a change.
