Seaglass ... A true gem!

On the Jersey Shore, walking the beach and collecting sea glass is a favorite hobby of many.

It's truly amazing ... Seaglass starts it’s journey as nothing more than broken glass in the ocean. It is tumbled and tossed around in the salt water and sand until these colorful seashore gems wash up on shore to the treasure hunters delight.

I've walked many beaches around the country and it seems that sea glass, just like Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra, Pork Roll, Salt Water Taffy (and many other New Jersey favorites), is a native New Jersey gem. Clearly, I am proud of my Garden State roots!

Discover a true gem right here in South Florida.

Super-fast service, personal attention, high-quality printing and low prices might be as hard to find these days as a beautiful piece of glass on a sandy beach. Not anymore ... "Red Rock" is that gem!

Deal With Customer Complaints ...

Here's why:

Many people have developed an automatic response shrug by saying, “Oh well, you can’t please all the people all the time."

Hmmmm, maybe that is true sometimes, OR, maybe you can!

If you give the person that has a complaint the same level of attention, respect and interest as you would an important sale to a client (or a pitch to
your boss), you will satisfy the person vs. causing more stress and I promise you will be surprised by how many times you reap the benefits
of being a good listener and a problem solver.

You will help to create a new RAVING FAN for your company and for your job position too. Try it ... it really works!

So, the next time you hear a client (or your boss) complaining about something, jump right in with both feet and turn that complaint into an opportunity to stand out in a crowd. You will surprise them all and shine like a star!

At Red Rock, we not only listen to you, we hear you when you talk to us because you are always our #1 priority. So try us on your next print project and experience the Red Rock difference!

Maintaining a "Grand-Opening" Attitude

I can remember growing up on the New Jersey Shore back in the 1960’s (and early 1970’s) and when a new gas station or small store would open in our growing little town, it was always a high-energy, fun and friendly experience.

... It was literally the talk of the town!

The store's new owner and it's employees would race around to ensure that everyone was having a "WOW!" experience and that they would also leave there raving about the new business to all of their friends and family.

With that image in mind, whether you are an employee of a company, an established business owner or thinking of venturing off on your own soon, make EVERY experience you have with a coworker, a client or a prospect, a “Grand-Opening Attitude” experience.

If you do, the word-of-mouth advertising that you will receive from your new raving fans will be priceless.

Keep Your Eyes On The Ball!

QUESTION: How do you stay motivated to achieve your goals?

ANSWER: Keep your eyes on the ball!

To never lose sight of what your goals are, always ask yourself before making any decision (large or small)

"does this decision get me closer to my goal?"

If it doesn't, you better rethink what you are about to do.

Goals can sometimes seem so far into the future (and unattainable), that it is best to break them down into smaller measurable steps that allow you to easily track your progress along the way.

You can't climb a staircase without taking the first step.

Breaking goals down into smaller measurable steps also helps because you will be able to see the progress along the way (and they will suddenly feel more attainable) and FUN actually.

Try it on your next large project (or anything that you want to add to your wish list) of goals... It works!
