Growing up on the Jersey Shore, walking the beach and collecting sea glass was a favorite hobby of mine as a kid. It's amazing ... Seaglass starts it’s journey as nothing more than broken glass thrown in the ocean... It is then tumbled and tossed around by the salt water and sand until these colorful sea shore gems wash up on shore.
I've been to many beach towns around the country, and it seems that sea glass, just like Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra, Pork Roll, Salt Water Taffy (and many other things), is a native New Jersey gem.
Obviously, I'm proud to be from the great Garden State!
